Lets start with the big guns. The DJI Mavic Pro is considered to be one of the top players in the Drone world, and it’s easy to see why.

With a max camera resolution of 1080p/12 megapixels, you’re going to be able to see yourself crystal clear when the Spark gets back down to the ground.

The Spark is the smallest of the DJI range, but features all of their signature technologies, allowing you to seize the moment whenever you feel inspired. With intelligent flight control options, a mechanical gimbal, and a camera with incredible image quality, the Spark empowers you to push your creative boundaries. If you’re new to drones or just after something to take quirky selfies with now and again, then the Revell Controll C-Me might be more in your price range.

Like the DJI Spark further down the list, this is primarily a selfie drone. If you’re looking for something to take 4k swooping video dives then this isn’t what you need. It is, however, extremely good value for money and easy to use and control.

C-ME is super-compact—it fits perfectly in your back jean pocket, backpack, purse or jacket. It’s shorter than an iPhone 7, so you can take it with you on every adventure. And with instant social sharing at the touch of a button, it’s like everyone’s right there with you.

The one downside is that theres a shorter flying time of just 10 minutes, and you have to angle the camera before setting off, but they are both small inconveniences if you’re looking for a drone that doesn’t cost you the earth.

4. Yuneec Breeze

It’s got a battery life of 20 mins, a range of 1.8 miles and an impressive max camera resolution of 4K/12 megapixels. Thats definitely enough to catch yourself skydiving from the top of everest.

The Karma’s maximum range is just 3km, but I can’t see many situations that you’d need to go beyond this if I’m honest. The drone is collapsible, portable, and you can take the camera and gimbal off and attach into a holder for cinematic ground footage. Multi functional!
